Haven't done this in QUITE a while, so forgive any n00bness. But how do I go about installing Windows XP on a completely new hard drive? I have the full version, so do I just pop in the CD and hope it boots up and takes over? Does XP use NTFS partitioning? Anything else I need to know? The way I remember doing it was:
Using Boot Disk (FDISK) to create a partition (FAT32) on the hard drive
formatting hard drive
using boot disk to access cd-rom (win2k)
Win2k starts up and asks if I want to NTFS the drive
Win2K formats and installs
Thanks guys
