Installing XP with x-25Mg2 on P6T Deluxe

The search function is not working So I am posting a question that probably has been asked a million times. And google did not help.

My buddy is trying to install win xp onto a x-25m G2. He can install in ide mode but not ahci mode. Windows XP does not recogonize the drive in AHCI mode.

What is the procedure to installing win xp into an x-25m in AHCI mode using the p6t delux mobo?

You will need to have the appropriate drivers (ie intel storage matrix for Win XP) and have them loaded on a floppy or usb like you would for installing a raid setup etc.
