Currently, my rig consists of an e6300 overclocked to 3.0ghz with a vcore of 1.3375 as stated specifically in BIOS. I've got several fans in a push - pull configuration.
Originally, I had a 7900gs that was not overclocked and have by now moved onto the 8800gts.
My power supply is an Antec NeoHE 500W and I thought this would be sufficient for me to run my rig without the fear of BSODs and the like.
However, while I have been playing Company of Heroes for 15 or so minutes, I would get the dreaded sync-error, a sudden BSOD, and then a restart a second later.
I suspect that it may be my power supply but I find that surprising because the Antec NeoHE supplies approximately 45-50amps on the 12v rail, which is more than enough for an 8800gts and a core 2 duo.
Could anyone shine light on my problem. Any advice from people running a similar rig would be much appreciated. (8800gts with an overclocked e6x00 running with a vcore of around 1.325-1.35v)
Thanks. I want to have some feedback before I get a more powerful psu.
