I have a PIII 450 running bare myself. No heat problems at all. Not my primary machine thank goodness, but I do have one.

Were talking about the era where Intel started the multiplier lock. The 366 is a 5.5 x a 66 mhz fsb. The early overclockers all knew how that 5.5 @ 100mhz fsb was doable in most cases.

I started this thread more as a trip down memory lane than a genuine hot deal.
Some day there will be Hyperthreaded P4s selling for less than the price of a Big Mac also.
