Considering the Kingston was recently <$80 at Amazon and no good combo's with it, this isn't that great.

It's a fairly good deal if you are looking to buy one in the next few weeks anyway, but I see no reason to jump out of your shoes to get one today if you weren't already going to buy.

These drives make stellar linux/windows boot drives, especially for VM hosting. I use this drive as the linux/vm host drive and have the VM stores on a standard 7200 RPM raid 0+1 array. The complete linux install with VMware and few add ons only consume about 10GB.

Also, they are excellent netbook drives (if you have a home NAS, who cares about storage).
