I own a Gateway 4026gz and upgraded the 1.3 Celeron to a Pentium M 1.6 successfully. I'm looking to max out the CPU b/c I need more power but I don't want to dish out the money for a new laptop. The processor I am looking at is a Pentium M 755 2.0, but I'm not sure if this will be compatible with my motherboard. The faster cpu is 90nm while my current one is 130 microns, the faster cpu also has double the L2 cache. I've tried searching the Intel site fo more information, but I didn't have much luck. Any info or help is appreciated.
