This is something that bothers me...

Genshin Impact is capped to 60 fps, unless you hack the limit.

PresentMon is interesting, but for my needs, not certain it is the best choice. I am so used to afterburner. It is neat how the fps numbers differ from each other. I'll take a screenshot if you want Igor. Not certain how I should configure it from the defaults either.

The new drivers didn't do anything significant for AC: Origins or Watch Dogs 2 in DX11. Switching to Vulcan in Origins doubles the fps from the 40s to the high 80s low 90s.

In WD2 the A750 is still being poorly utilized at 1080. Often only in the 60s and 70s percentage usage. Meanwhile fps can dip to as low as the 30s. I am starting to think the HD texture pack is the problem. While the used vram says it's under 8GB the allocated goes over 8GB. That is one of those bugs with AB and ARC. Reporting use of more vram than the cards have. I have a blend of mid and high settings, even trying FXAA and low shadows to get the frames up. But as soon as I get outside with a fair amount of draw distance, the fps tanks.

It's a question that has no answer on the web. I see people trying to run ARC cards with Zen 2 CPU's. I know you need Zen 3 for ARC cards to run correctly.

It'll work great. I am using the 5600 with it at the moment. PCIe 3.0 shouldn't make any noticeable impact.

As of now I’m in for Battlemage next year. Goal is a 2k monitor around end of year, then video card upgrade.

It didn't play nice with the APU Vega graphics the way Nvidia does. So I disabled it in the UEFI.

Running smooth and scores in 3DMark are hitting the averages, right where they should be.

I ordered the Sparkle dual fan A750. It will be up and running on Thursday. I was thinking about the 3 fan version but the card is long and I want to be able to use the card in smaller cases. It's going to be a place holder card for up to 2 years.

If my calculations are correct. The best case scenario with optimized drivers by Intel, would be 3060ti performance. I think by the beginning of 2024, Intel should have a pretty good handle on the drivers. It may take until June of 2024 for Intel to get everything dialed in.

Once Intel gets their drivers right. It will be pretty seamless transition going to the 2nd generation Battlemadge GPU for Intel.

ARC A750 already beats the 3060ti in 3Dmark tests. Which shows the GPU's is slightly more powerful than the 3060ti. It's better than the 4060, all that ARC needs is continued driver improvement. A lot of people base a GPU solely on gaming performance without looking at the raw power of the GPU.

I am not certain. I only ordered right before posting. No instructions have been provided yet. I presume they will either be included with the card, or after a certain time has elapsed? I will let you know when I do.

If I recall correctly from earlier this year, NE sent a code and then you redeem it for the steam/store codes on the intel site. I think Epic games was just copy/paste a code, same with Steam but I think you had to sign into your ubisoft/uplay account.
