Same here. Was supposed to ship yesterday, never received a tracking number, called today and was told it is in proccesing for shipping (wth). I asked if it was back-ordered and they said no (probably fearing a cancellation). I don't care for resellers that jerk you around......

almost word for word what they said "processing for shipping" I asked on Tuesday what that meant and the lady said "they should be getting ready to box it up". Then Wednesday and this morning I'm told it may slip into backorder.. again, how long does it take to know if you have 'xx' boards to fill 'xx' outstanding orders.

Nearest retail store is chicago (2) but 370 miles away.

bullshit.

Yeah, and it will be sitting in a box till I buy the rest of the parts, if figures that the people that do not need them ship first.....

Yeah, but you don't run in to the problems that are non-existent with Intel Motherboards. I swear that they are some of the easiest motherboards to live with on a day to day basis. I have had two of them and there generally problem free. The extra $76 is definitly worth the peace of mind and it'll save you plenty of headaches.

hey I did get something in email today from microcenter.. an advertising email w/ specials.. Latest today as of 3:30pm CST is it looks like it WILL go into back order.

What I was told is that to complicate matters a bit, at least one warehouse is doing inventory this weekend and will not be packing anything after Friday evening until monday afternoon.

Hey hey! I called and worked up the chain to a supervisor of sorts.. He checked around and cancelled my order and remade a new one, with overnight shipping and all at no charge , sent it to the California warehouse. Told me to call back in the AM on saturday to get my tracking # and I'd have it on Monday with his sincere apologies.

Cool, eh?

2 hours ago I got a "BACKORDERED ITEM" notice.

and he won't be back in until monday.

Microcenter must be really hit or miss, mine shipped out the day after I ordered it along with an E4300. Possibly because I ordered right after it went back to being 1-3 days wait instead of 5-7.

They apparently haven't even charged my credit card yet, but I'm sure they'll get around to it

My credit card got charged, was in the pending state on my back account online, and now it is taken off. I believe they oversold and my particular order is tied to a warehouse that can't fufil the order yet. New orders that are being fufilled are simply coming out of warehouses with plenty of stock. Most likely a regional thing.....

When I ordered, 2/3, it was 1-3 days..

Calling in the AM with Mr. Supervisor to find out what the hell is going on now. At least my order was bumped to overnight shipping at 0 charge, so WHEN it does ship, it will not drag azz getting here.
