I'm just curious, hijacker are you the only one reading the thread that hasn't gotten either a tracking # or a board yet? I know there are more probably that haven't posted, but..

I was considering this because the price sounds good, but after looking at their ratings at Resellerratings it isn't worth a few bucks saved to risk these kinds of problems:

feel like I've been to hell and back to get them to ship the board FINALLY. 10 days , NO EXCUSE for how my (and other) orders were handled.

mine is out for delivery by 3pm, and it's 1:25 now, they are gonna push it as far as they can I guess. Can't wait to pull the ASSRock 945 mobo out. dammit GET HERE.

I think I might see the problem with the stocking issue.. The board (factory sealed) has a retail microcenter price tag on it of $219.99 They stock their stores from the same warehouses that they ship from.. Either that or they raided some stores..

Packing was an 18x12x8 box, stuffed tight with peanuts, no movement of the inside box whatsoever.. I'll report back later tonight with the results of the install, been holding off vista on that desktop until I got this board

I'm now back orderd. Bast@rds. . Now what do I do? They are like holding my money hostage. Email says if it comes in within the next 30 days they will charge my card and then ship it. WTH is that? I can't buy another board, I can't buy the same board from someone else but yet I'm locked in to them for 30 days?! I can't afford 2 motherboards right now . I have to tell you I'm pretty unimpressed with the way they are handling these orders.

Call and request to speak to 'Nate', might help.

Installed easily, uneventful vista install, customizing now. Seems very quick, very pleased so far!

Finally received mine today. It was pretty poorly packed, but everything seems to be in one piece. Mine appears to be the 5.05 revision if I'm looking at the right number.

It may be a good board, but 3 PCIe slots is a waste. Most people only use 1 slot, 2 at most.

Well, FedEx delivery jerked me off again, delivering my DS3 two days late. So, I got impatient to build and went to a MicroCenter and bought the last BA2 they had in the store.

Got to admit, it looks much more sophisticated than the Gigabyte board.....damned DS3 has no less than 7 colors thrown across it.....and all clash. A lime green IDE port, yellow and red memory slots, baby blue PCI-e slot, 3 goldish/yellow and a purple SATA ports, two different golds on the north and south bridge heat sinks, and a med-dark blue PCB. Who thought up those colors? Someone on LSD?

Contrast that to the black PCB of the Intel board with blue and black slots for the memory, black PCI-e slots, silver north and south bridge heat sinks and blue heat sinks on the MOSFETs. A very understated and mature look......not cartoonish and garish like the DS3.

So, both boards are here.....and the DS3 makes me want to hurl just looking at it and I don't care how well it overclocks. I think it's getting repacked and returned as being "DOA" on arrival.
