PCLab posted an updated article about Iris Pro 6200 gaming, on the eve of Iris Pro 580's release. Worth the read:

ASUS getting ready for Broadwell-E as well:
www.asus.com/microsite/mb/intel-core-i7-x-series-cpu-ready
- Core i7-6800K - 630$
Predecessor: 389$
- Core i7-6850K - 890$
Predecessor - 594$.
And it goes on, and on, and on...
Intel really needs to feed their fabs with money to mitigate the increased production costs.
Thanks for the laugh, anyone taking these early listing prices as serious. Priceless!
There is no way it's that price. Doesn't ncixus do the same thing with prices just before every major release?
Yeah it's definitely not that much. It's $1500 for the 10 core.
That alone is still WAY too much, if you ask me.
Really, what they should do is make the hex core mainstream, and relegate 8 and 10 cores to the HEDT. Price the mainstream hex core like 5820k, 8 core around 600 and 10 core 1000.
