Intel only switches to a new socket with a new CPU microarchitecture, Tock previously, Architecture now since they switched to Process Architecture Optimization model.
Sandy Bridge LGA 1155
Haswell LGA 1150
Skylake LGA 1151
Coffee Lake/Cannonlake would be the Tick/Process except Coffee Lake is still 14nm, minor CPU architecture improvements and maybe a newer GPU architecture Gen10, still based on Skylake's microarchitecture.
New socket will only come with Icelake, being developed by Intel Oregon team which developed Nehalem/Westmere & Haswell/Broadwell.
