My CFL-S i3-8100 from Newegg that I ordered this morning, moved into the Shipping state quite a bit earlier today, but the tracking number still doesn't show that it was shipped out, even though it's a couple of states over, and says that it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Could Newegg intentionally be holding onto the few that sold, and not actually shipping them out from their warehouse until tomorrow, just to appease Intel? I hope not, but I really wonder.

Or maybe the tracking data is just backed up.

I still don't have a board. Want the ASRock Z370 ITX board with the dual Intel Gigabit LAN. That looks sweet for a pfsense box, which is where I think that I'm going to use this chip.

Are there any under $100 boards available (or soon to be available), from any mfg, for Coffee Lake? Thinking of maybe a Biostar.

Anyone know how much the ASRock Z370 ITX board will be at Newegg?

Yeah... not much of a point in buying a board if you don't know if you can even get a CPU.

Yup. Also, often the only wait to get the CPU early on is to buy one of the combo deals w/ board. So I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Oh man... I cant decide what to get. Any reason to purchase the Asus itx Mobo over the Asrock itx? Is there going to be a Gigabyte itx coming out? I think I wanna do tiny form factor this time around.I also need a new case something small and something that resembles a gaming console, oh and its gotta fit a mini GPU like a Gtx 1050 ti or Gtx 1060.

ASRock has the M.2 on the front. ASUS has it on the back. That's an insta no buy on the ASUS for me.

Let me know if you find any candidate cases, that are roughly PS4 or XBOne-sized, that would fit a full-height "shorty" GTX1050ti card. Could also build a really sweet gaming machine with my parts, and maybe actually make a profit selling it.

Edit: What about this one?

Says it has an 80W PSU. Do they mean the power-conversion / distribution board in the chassis, or the included external laptop-style brick? If the internal board can handle a higher wattage, you can get 125W or 150W bricks.

If the i3-8100 CPU takes 50W under load, and the GTX1050ti takes 70W, that's 130W, so with the RAM and M.2 and motherboard chipset, you might be able to just make it with a 150W power brick.

IF the internal power board holds up at that wattage too, that is.

But I think that with a PCI-E x16 riser (doesn't seem to be included with case), it looks like it's possible to fit a double-wide video card in there.

That is exactly what I am looking for is something about the size of an Xbox One or maybe a tad bit larger. Yeah I am going to get the Asrock itx mobo.I have no idea where to start looking as far as cases goes though.
