Yeah I've seen him make such peculiar statements time and again right before a launch.

Thinking I won't buy a board unless I can get a CPU to go with it. Time to go to work through the heavy rain, and miss the launch aw

I'm still running Bloomfield (thankfully the overclock to 4ghz held stable all these years) so it's going to be supremely annoying if I can't score Coffee Lake. I nixed upgrading to Skylake a few months ago when I first heard about these having 6 cores.

I checked compsource.com the have an ETA on the i7 8700k for 10/19. They price is high but from them and shopblt the eta average seems to be 2 to 3 weeks.

When someone posted a link with a bunch of Z370 boards a couple hours ago, it was in that list. I contemplated buying it a few times, but it sold out before I pulled the trigger.

Was searching z370 motherboards on amazon and found listings for the 8100, 8350k, 8400, and 8600k. Lists the 8600k as out of stock
