????????????????Yes, that was a baffling one as well.
ES are a minimal viable product. They need not to have full blown performance. You're not testing for clocks at that stage.

nothing, the crossed out line means he changed his email address but never confirmed the new one. I noticed it happened to me a few times when I changed various emails. @usanthem also has that issue. What happened to him???
Still kinda worrisome that I haven't seen a post from him or usandthem in a while.nothing, the crossed out line means he changed his email address but never confirmed the new one. I noticed it happened to me a few times when I changed various emails. @usanthem also has that issue.
Hoping for him to return as well.nothing, the crossed out line means he changed his email address but never confirmed the new one. I noticed it happened to me a few times when I changed various emails. @usanthem also has that issue.
I don't frequent sites like this much because I've never liked forums or back in the day the old bulletin board systems. It's not my jive at all. Over the years stuff like this has happened which has further made me disgruntled about using forums. From people falling off the face of the planet to people you talked to dying. I much prefer being a randomized username logging into an irc popping off questions then escaping for years at a time. I yearn for a simpler era of less connectedness. i should buy a nuclear bunker and take a page out of blast from the past. In the 90s I used to drop out of civilization on weekends and go to remote areas to think and explore. Do that now and you'll get a search and rescue team called out for you. Too much nanny state and perpetual bed wetters I say!Hoping for him to return as well.
While not always being 100% aligned with his stances - which IMHO is what a Forum is meant for - I always very much appreciated his input and his approach of discussion.
Around the same time, Bill Gates was doing the same thing. His "think weeks".In the 90s I used to drop out of civilization on weekends and go to remote areas to think and explore.
I'm only guessing here but unlike Bill I never partook in drugs on those "think weeks" I found life slowly speeding up and wanted to take a short reset on weekends. I don't blame people for being so worried in modern times compared to then. Most people without a phone couldn't navigate any terrain and don't know a damn thing about surviving off the land if they got lost.Around the same time, Bill Gates was doing the same thing. I was living in a building's 17th floor in the middle of the city these past two years. Even at that height, I could hear the annoying sounds of hustle and bustle. Now I'm in a kind of a secluded community in a villa. The quietness is so nice.
The one about MTL being 14th gen? Could be an old document leak before they made the decision to release RPL-R.Wccftech posted some info this morning about Meteor Lake trying to pass it off as info for Raptor's refresh but I don't see the connection. Any insight to that?
Yes, was posted this morning. I think Extremetech is looking at engineering samples. I haven't read your link because the text is whisper thin on my end. I'll have to try and get text to speech to read it to me.The one about MTL being 14th gen? Could be an old document leak before they made the decision to release RPL-R.

MTL off to a terrible start!
Where? I'm not seeing any such figures outside the spec sheet for mtl posted months ago on various websites.ES sample for MTL is hitting 2GHz on the 128 EU iGPU though apparently

Thank you mikk. I couldn't understand what gedda was yammering on about. This is very interesting news for those who use the igpu for workloads and not low end gaming. He refers to some Compubench entries: https://compubench.com/device.jsp?b...D=Intel(R)+Arc(TM)+Graphics+RI&testgroup=info
There is a Intel Arc Graphics entry with 128EUs and CL_DEVICE_MAX_CLOCK_FREQUENCY clock speeds of 1700, 1750, 2000, 2100.

He’s one of the more reliable ‘leakers’. But, I’m not in the club and don’t see his posts anymore till they show up on some other website.I don't use twitter but it appears this individual has made their account private. Could you post a screenshot of the discussion?
Its the Xeon W5 3435X So 16 cores spread across 4 tiles, wich is 4 cores per tile. If you dont care about AVX512 but want 8 Channel and Lots of PCI express lanes then the 5955WX is just as fast as the 3435X and should be cheaper too.16cores or 16x4 cores? im guessing the 1st, and the score is nice but the power usage is not. tr on zen 4 should kill any momentum there in that 500w range.
