Many B350 boards support it with latest bios. They claim you need Zen 2 or newer CPU/APU but I and others have used it with Zen+ on 3 series boards. I had it working with a 2600.
Works perfectly on my OG Zen 1700 in an Asrock AB350M-Pro4. I think it's more a question of which AGESA version you run, then what board you run.

Seeing the problems that AMD is having (not to mention Intel's layoffs), it's looking even worse if Intel is serious about continuing with the gaming GPUs.

Intel probably has to continue, because it seems likely that the lower tiers will start moving to multi-die APUs, in particular laptops, which are an increasingly important market. And there is a lot of money in professional products with GPU engines.

The message seems to be, if you buy a 4090, get our 13900K!

Yeah, and to play at 1080p. They're so obsessed with their marketing rules that even their "real-world" content is disconnected from consumer reality.

Most of that article shouldn't exist. They should be laser focused on value builds, showcasing the power of perf/dollar combos such as i5 + A750/A770. Then showcase just how decent i3+A380 can be for e-sports for example. The i7/i9/4090 shouldn't be mentioned, they should be addressed in some other article aimed at enthusiast performance, but they can't help themselves.

It reminds me of this scene from a soup kitchen where the PM of UK asks a homeless person if they work in business.

Would you prefer if he had treated him like a loser? He didn't look down on him, the guy asked the PM about business, so the PM took that as a conversation starter and asked him about business. The guy said he was homeless, but then said he'd like to get into business and finance but had survive christmas first Just because someone's homeless doesn't mean they have no skill, talent or dreams beyond getting fed in a soup kitchen. His treatment of the guy was actually very good, in contrast to those who tried to belittle the PM and by implication the homeless person he had a chat with.

- I town around my university back in the day was (and still is) a very economically depressed place. Something my friends and I learned quickly is when turning down a bum for money, offer him some of your food or a cigarette and talk to them.

A) Its hard for even a bum who might be suffering from god knows what issues to get hostile when they're offered a McChicken/Smoke, just basic human instinct.

B) Most bums were male and men tend to relax doing things side by side. Sharing a smoke or a quick bite with guys is a surefire way to lower the tension and get everyone to relax. Sort of the foundation of "working lunches" in the corporate world.

C) Bums often have incredibly complicated life stories and they were some of the most interesting I've ever heard (and these folks just thanked us for listening to them and walked off 100% of the time).

Important life lesson there. Treat people like people and outside of some form of severe mental illness they will treat you like people in return.

I would prefer the PM remembered where he was and proceeded to interact with more tact, which is the opposite of treating him like a loser. He's supposed to have the social and diplomatic skills to handle that, just like you're supposed to recognize a Freudian slip when you see one. Also, I don't need your help to understand the other person in that video has skills, talents or dreams. I did not question his character, the criticism aimed at the PM was based on the relative situation of both men at the time of the video recording. They were in a soup kitchen, people going there are facing a difficult time, no matter their potential.

Go back and listen to their conversation, how the other man asks the PM something like "are you coming out?", then remarks that it's good for business, as in good for his public image. The soup kitchen is noisy and the PM doesn't hear everything properly, only the "business" part is perfectly clear. So he proceeds to almost ask "Oh, do you have a business?" but he stops mid-sentence and corrects to something he deems more appropriate "Do you work in business?".

Now go back to the question he almost asked. Reconsider the context.

Now is the time for Intel to strike with a firm blow to AMD and Nvidia. Arc A750 for $149 and Arc A770 for $199. The A770 with 16GB of Vram would be a direct shot at the 4060 cards.
At those prices they lose even more money. They basically just have to set the price so the stock they've already made last until Battlemage, which will hopefully perform better relative to the production cost.

But they gain market share. They establish a GPU brand for themselves. You have to look at the long term goal rather than short term setbacks. The Arc GPU's were more than a year late to begin with.

And they remove margin from competitors. However I agree the prices you suggested are likely too aggressive vs stock on hand. Love to see it happen.
