Phoenix Point is a monolithic RDNA3 APU:Rumor has it that AMD's next iGPU will be much more powerful, perhaps by adding a small RDNA2-based die to an MCM CPU.
In general I think that MCM blurs the lines between iGPUs and discrete GPUs, so it makes much more sense to do both.

I can finally make this thread. Phoenix is indeed RDNA3. My advice to everyone: treat the old APU rumours as being out of date.

At least with dGPUs you aren't limited to a manufacturer. It's much easier to reach to consumers that way.
