I am playing on the TV tonight so the target is 1080 max settings 60 locked/vsync on.
All games were tested with the latest WHQL 4369 and Beta 4382 released today. I played each that worked, for at least 10-15 minutes.
Dirt 4 =passed
Arkham City = Passed
Arkham Origins = Passed
Arkham Knight = Will not launch
Call of Duty 2 = Will not launch
Fallout 4 - Passed
Fallout New Vegas = Freezes and becomes unresponsive within a minute or two of getting in game.
Crysis (GOG version) - crashes to desktop within a minute or two of gameplay. Tried both the DX9 and DX10 launcher.
I tried running the problem games as admin, and with compatibility mode for different windows versions. I have the DXVK files unpacked and ready. But I am not certain how to add the DX9 or 10 files to a game like Crysis. I tried copying them to the main folder but that did nothing.
Perhaps Ryse: Son of Rome, is a good candidate to see what happens with smooth sync? Without vsync or frame cap it's a hot mess. It'll be interesting to see if the tearing is as obtrusive or not. I'll try it later today.
Next up is Mad Max, Shadow of Mordor, Crysis 3, Sniper Elite 4, and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.
-Good info and thanks for the candid feedback. Honestly it doesn't sound like it's quite ready for primetime if so many of the games you tested were having launch issues.
It's one thing for some obscure edge case game to not work but AK and FNV would be painful to miss out on.
Curious to see how the rest of that list goes.
