Does all the Chipsets support BCLK increments or that goes only for the Z series ??
Stagnation.... It's been 7yrs since core 2 and Intel look like they aren't trying.
As bad as AMD might be doing at least you can't fault them for not trying.
You think core 2 is equivalent to Haswell?
Do you think he actually said that?
OK, I guess they're calling it BCLK now. Same thing, really, isn't it?
anything new on the K/non K supported instructions TSX/TXT etc?
Anything points to K parts not supporting TSX/TXT which actually is the only thing that bothers me at Haswell.
Lets see if its not TXT only as missing. Just as previous.
I cant imagine any Haswell CPU without TSX.
Yeah, I hope that too, TXT being more of a datacenter feature. It makes little sense removing TSX, like if that's even possible.
Proof?
Proof?
we need microcenter back in the bay area
Judging from the box art it looks like a Haswell chip can be implanted in your brain...I thought that wasn't coming for a few more generations

box is fake 100%
Besides, does anyone care what the box looks like? I usually order an OEM chip that doesn't come with the box.
Even if I did order the retail CPU (and the crap cooler that comes with it), I'd end up throwing that junk out once I had the system running stable for a week.

Yeah, probably. But maybe not!
In any case, I'll probably pick up a K version at Micro Center for the same price.
