Any GPU game benchmarks of HD530 and HD510 in Pentium and i3 Skylake? How does it compare to Kaveri igpu?

That is total nonsense.

Intel Core i7-6700K:
Passmark score = 11021 / Single Threaded Score = 2321

AMD FX 9590:
Passmark score = 10265 / Single Threaded Score = 1721

What else are you planning to lie about today?

Apparently your sarcasm detector needs a tune-up.

Somewhat off-topic.

I though the gate pitch of a node was the distance between de gates of two transistors. However, this image shows something different:

Then why is it called the gate pitch?

The gate pitch bar represents exactly the distance between the midpoints of the two gates. Seems right to me.

For those of you interested in low-end Skylake, some Pentium G4400 tests from German PCGamesHardware.

Very close to quad-core 3.9-4.2GHz FX4300 MT performance on the synthetic tests. Not bad for a power efficient dual-core (no HT) CPU at 3.3GHz. Also faster than FX6300 in 3 out of 4 games tested.

Wish they had tested the Pentium G4500. A couple extra bucks give you +200MHz and HD Graphics 530. Worth it IMHO.

Even the i3 and low tier i5's SB are in real danger now... The FX is OC able, so they are saved, but not by much....
Seems that 32 nm is now becoming obsolete...

Seriously, no takes about the Base Clock overclocking on a non-K Processor... ON A NON-Z MOTHERBOARD?

http://www.overclock.net/t/1582569/...bclk-on-retail-skylake-core-i3-6320-at-4-6ghz
https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/3v0f81/dhenzjhen_unlocks_bclk_on_retail_skylake_core_i3/

Funnier of all, the Motherboard used is a Supermicro C7H170-M, a brand know mostly on the Server market.

RIP AMD FX and any chip below G3258 and the i5 OCable... Even the i5 Haswell K is being defeated!

If Intel won't patch this, they will see their OC chips, specially their 6600K, droping like a rock and the Supermicro boards will be crazy expensive.

Intel just made their new Nehalem and I won't be surprised if SuperMicro manages to put the Xeon on their boards and manages to overclock it.

INBF, they manages to OC the Celeron over 5 Ghz...

Where is Idontcare? Has he again disappeared (after his reappearance ~March 2014)?

Looks like consoles are struggling:

Just Cause 3 is renowned for its explosive action and this is reliant on the fidelity of its physics model. Avalanche pushes the boat out there with the Havok middleware, but this does cause performance issues on both consoles. Blowing up a bridge with C4 explosives causes a mid-20s dip on both machines as the structure crumbles into its component parts. Bearing in mind that not a huge amount is happening from a visual perspective otherwise, it does suggest that the Jaguar CPU architecture of both consoles is being pushed to its limit.

So there's where we're at with Just Cause 3 right now. The plan is to investigate console performance in greater depth, and to stack up the visual feature-set on display here with the PC version. What we can say right now with a fair amount of confidence is that the GTX 950 paired with a Haswell Core i3 processor can easily run Just Cause 3 at 1080p maxed with SMAA anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering and stay well north of 30fps.

Better not cheap out on the CPU next time.

Without a question. If we are lucky, he might start posting here again, but I wouldn't count on it.

You and me. Me and you. You and I. We should compare our rigs in a bench off with games. We got the same GPU's and same monitor but different platforms. You got a new quad and I got an old hex and they are both at the same exact Ghz. It would be a great spectacle.

Sure, wanna start a dedicated thread? I'm game. PM me and we can figure out what to test and such.

He's not interested in the cesspool this forum has become. The last time he posted a new reg attacked him.

Ehh... I think he is just busy/not interested. I dont see IDC as the type to be intimidated by a random internet poster. The forums have become very........polarized lately though. Dont see much in depth technical info like we used to get from IDC and Guskline for instance.

There is so little happening in regards to desktop CPU's these days.

Whilst not connected, I can't help but associate the non-arrival of Half Life 3 as symbolic of how boring desktop computing is and the current generation of consoles are no answer as they came out underpowered compared to reasonable expectations.

Now that you mention it, I could imagine HL3 driving millions in hardware sales. I know I would probably celebrate its arrival with a new monitor for sure, which no doubt would be followed by a GPU.

But closer to the topic, I posted this in another thread:

So far, an i3-6100 in my ASRock Z170 Extreme 4 does not respond to changes to the BCLK value in the BIOS. On the contrary, anything but "Auto" or "100.00" will result in a slight drop in observed frequency.

In fact, settings beyond 103 or so result in boot failure. Settings between 100 and 103 do nothing but slow it down slightly.
