That CPU package shot suggests GT3e.
starting at 1,179 in canada
no thanks
1679 if you want 8 gb
lol this is horrible
I think I will go for the i5/8GB/256GB SP4 model. Was thinking on 16GB, but again its a laptop/tablet.
I see no mention of GT3e on MS site, only Iris (while GT3e should be Iris Pro, no?). They only talk about "6th Gen Intel® Core M3, i5, or i7" and "M3: Intel® HD graphics 515 / i5: Intel® HD graphics 520 / i7: Intel® Iris graphics"Skylake-Y for the base model Core m3 $899
Skylake-U GT2 Core i5
Skylake GT3e Core i7
Uh??? what?? Have you not bought an ultrabook before?

Let's wait and hope that they starts with Core M or Core i5... if they starts with i3... no thanksThey said in the presentation that it will start at $899.
Does anyone know when the Core i7 version of Surface Pro 4 will be available?
I've read November somewhere. That would be better than the Q1-2016 we were expecting for Iris/Iris Pro Skylake.

MS practically went way worse than Apple this time... I smell a DOA this time.$400 premium for upgrade to 512 GB from 256 GB. Reasonable.
