300 series is Cannon Lake PCH, except Kaby Lake-R Z370, correct? Then why is Z390 coming that much later?
That's been the rumor for awhile. Considering that Intel is going to be cutting into their margins quite a bit with this release I think they wanted to make sure the pent up demand went to higher ASP products first. Kind of like AMD releasing the 7 series Ryzen's first instead of releasing the R5 at the same time.Looking at the above roadmap, im quessing only the K models of Coffeelake will relese in Q4 2017 ??
So the current Z270/B250/B350 won't work with Coffeelake CPUs?

That would be a poor marketing choice on Intel's behalf. AMD would eat Intel's lunch - so I think not.
Nice find @nvgpu. LGA 1151 v2's Z390 in H2-2018 and Ice Lake rumored to arrive next year, maybe Q4 is in the cards depending on 10nm+ progress. Some updates on leaked CFL-S & SKL-X scores...
- Core i9-7940X @ Geekbench 4
- Core i5-8400 @ SiSoftware (Processor Multi-Media)
- Core i7-7700K @ SiSoftware (Processor Multi-Media, Stock)
There aren't just 2 products to launch; there are 6 that have prices: Core i3-8100, 8350K, i5-8400, 8600K, i7-8700, 8700K.
Well forgot the 8350K, but even if they will release the other locked CPUs i dont believe they will sell alot of them with just the Z370 available in Q4 2017.
How many pci lanes is the 370? Same as 270 i take it?
Their original plan did seem to include non-K CPUs: if you remember a while ago we got hold of a slide from an Intel partner presentation showing their intent to launch CFL in Aug-Sep. That slide included "6 and 4-core / 95W K, 65W" SKUs in the first batch, with the second batch scheduled for Q1 2018 consisting of "6, 4 and 2-core / 95W K, 65W, 35W" SKUs.Well forgot the 8350K, but even if they will release the other locked CPUs i dont believe they will sell alot of them with just the Z370 available in Q4 2017.
