you do know that 3dmark01 is mainly processor test, correct?
your dothan also has many cons compare to even a venice, such as low fpu scores (helpful in games), heat (must be very hot at 2.7 ghz), and the lack of pci-e.
OK OK everyone just stick to what you believe is the better buy and if you are an AMD fanboy or an INTEL fanboy or just dont care then that is fine. But why sit here and argue about something so stupid.
buying a CPU is almost the same as buying a car. People like to stick with one company and buy from there. Geez you guys are like 5 1/2 years old in here lol. You guys are funny.
But personally i love my AMD cpus and i am sticking with them even if they crash and burn because that is what i like to use. Not because i am a fanboy but because that is what i have known to use and trust.
On the otherhand if something totally far out comes out of INTEL which i think might be coming out soon with their next gen cpus, i MIGHT give them a try for myself instead of build them for other people that PREFER intel. Its just user preference thats all.
I assume some of you will grow up and see that acting as 5 year olds is crazy and soon hopefully you guys will reach the age 6.
