The G3 seems to have been delayed several times.

I've been enjoying an Indilinx based 120GB in my main rig for around a year. It may have been twice the cost of this Intel drive BITD and has much lower random performance, but I've had the year to enjoy it. No regrets.

couldn't agree more, however we're in March and G3 is around the corner (mid April?)

For those who will still use SATA 2 for a while, the new ssd won't be much faster than the current ssd on the market, which brings me to pice/GB and reliability issues.
I am not necessarily one of those screaming about the high prices off ssd, I think they are worth it .... but again G3 is so close .....
