Jah, the Xeons come with smaller heatsinks for some reason (there's a photo comparison somewhere, showing the Xeon's sink looking rather squat next to the E8400's). You'd think a 'server cpu' would come with superior cooling, if anything. Also, the Xeon's sink is all aluminium, whereas I believe there may be a copper insert within the E8400's heatsink? I suspect I'll want to pick up an aftermarket cooling solution at some point -- definitely if I want to indulge in some overclocking.
If only FedEx would bother to ring me when they don't find me home. Or provide a way for me to ring them. It's the 21st century, and there's no way for us to contact individual drivers en route? And why bother asking me for a 'delivery telephone number', if they're never going to ring me? DHL did bother to ring me when I wasn't home for their shipment a couple of months ago: as I work literally down the street, the driver simply drove on a few hundred metres and met me out in the street. I wish FedEx would do the same. Well, a friend has agreed to sit in my flat and wait for FedEx tomorrow. He'll be getting a free pack of Dunhills as compensation...
