Intellimouse Optical 3.0 - Wobbly?

This isn't a big deal but it is really irking me. My new Intellimouse Optical 3.0 doesn't seem to sit flat on my desk. It will rock ever-so-slightly from side to side (if my hand is over it and I put more weight on one side it will become uneven). Do all Intellimouse Optical mice do this? Is it some sort of defect, I'd like to go exchange it if so.

What you've described doesn't seem right. I've been using an Optical (vers. 3.0) for nearly a year now. I've never experienced the rocking that you've described. I've been using mine on a very thin plastic mouse pad - which seems to work better than just the regular desktop.

Have you tried you mouse on another surface to see if the rocking is still present?

are all the little plastic "feet" still on it ?

On both my pad at desk it rocks, I tested my old mouse w/ball and it didn't. I guess I'll exchange it this weekend for a new one.
