Starts with hiring partner (who was essentially wearing a muscle tee) saying:
"Forget this resume...tell me about your fantasy football picks."
It was suppose to be a 30 min interview but all that was spent on on fantasy football...then he asked me a few work related questions, generally uninterested in my responses.
At one point, I stop talking because he is checking emails and text messages. He looks up and says "Don't stop, say your peace. It's not you...I just hate these questions, but they make me ask them so I can't really care about your responses."
Few more questions, same reaction, etc.
Then he cuts me off and says "Look, I like you, so I'll be honest. Your qualified for the position and you seem like a cool guy. I think you will fit in with the team. But here is the thing: I can't go to sleep at night without ambien. That's how stressed I am. On the other hand, I make a shit load of money. See this? (Points to his rolex). I don't give he shit if I lost it. I would buy another one. So ask yourself what's more important: money or mental health before taking this job."
That was just part of the speech. Note there has not been an offer made before all this. Quite an interesting guy.
