Certainly a unique color scheme. Would look pretty sweet through a case window.

That's likely to be the standard for desktop parts, since their logical choices are now 3 or 6 slots. This gives you 3 or 6GB in a typical setup, or 12! if the board supports 4GB DIMMs. Hardly limiting!

I can't access Asia-based websites atm, but I've seen other pictures of that board from IDF. Don't really know or care much about the board itself, since it'll undoubtedly be exorbitantly expensive, but one thing I saw that I really liked is that it has mounting holes for LGA775 heatsinks in addition to the standard i7 mounts -- so no need for an adapter kit.

I hope other manufacturers follow suit.

Wow, I missed that. Nice touch.

I am hoping someone comes out with a 9 DIMM enthusiast board at some point. Intel mentioned that 3 DIMMS per channel was explicitly supported on bloomfield during the last IDF.

I already have 8GB, I'll want at least 16-24GB by the time I pull the trigger on an I7 system.

Most boards that I have seen have 6 DIMM slots....that seems to make the most sense to me (although likely only three for smaller than ATX board sizes).
