Internet Explorer 9 window titles?

Installed IE9 and so far its fine (don't like the location of the Favorites icon, can't change it?) but one thing is bugging me. Theres no more window titles? Is this normal or did something get screwed up in my install? I don't see any options for it and no hits on google about it so im kind of thinking it's just me. Can anyone confirm?

confirmed.. no titles for me either. i will check back on another PC to see if it is consistent.

The Window is always IE9 - exactly where you are is displayed in the Address Bar which is located almost as a subset of the old Title Bar. The Title Bar is now black except for Minimize, Maximize/Restore Down and Close. The Favorites star is right inder those display functions. I find it very convenient. WWhen the Favorites Bar is used, it can be arrayed so that real favorites are icon links arranged any way you want them. Here's mine:

It may be a bit different, but I find it very efficient.

Window titles for Windows Explorer were dropped in Windows 7 (or perhaps Vista), so presumably this is just the same change propagating to IE.

Not really. The question is about Internet Explorer, not Windows Explorer. Here is my IE8 bars layout. Not the displayed title on top. Also note where the Address bar is. IE9 moves it to the top and places it inside the title bar.

I don't get the ie9 title bar. That's the very top right ?
Seems like a waste of space, there's nothing there but the icons you mention. Doesn't Chrome put tabs up there ?

The Title Bar is the top blue band. It is double wide. It contains the URL Address, the minimize, restore down/full screen, and exit buttons, as well as icons for Home, Faves, and Tools. It is also the area where you can grab and drag with the mouse to a different location. I have no idea what Chrome does - it will never darken my door.

BTW, IE9 as shown combines unless you select them to be on a separate line. Then the blue Title Bar expands to 3 lines.
