I got an IS for my Mp3 player probably 2 and half years ago. The only problem with it is there is actually a scrape on it *gasp!* I use and abuse my mp3 player.. throw it into my work bag with my keys and other things while im on the bus etc. and it's still on and rockin'. I don't plan on taking it off considering it's still clear and shiny.
The same time I got it for my mp3 player I got one for my camera... I had to re align it due to my girlfriend's request of it "not being perfect". So i slowly took it off, it didn't leave any residue on the screen itself but the shield got these little "crackly" stretch marks in it.

SO, word of the wise: Don't listen to your girlfriend.

I got one of these several years ago to put on my 1st gen iPod Nano while the Nano was almost brand-new. I just took it off today to see what would happen. It came off the front quite cleanly, leaving only minimal dirt/residue around the very edges where it had peeled off a bit... really easy to just wipe clean with a finger. The back of the Nano (metal, as opposed to the plastic of the front) did not turn out so well, however. There is sticky residue over the whole back and it is fairly durable. It will probably take some Goo Gone and some vigorous scraping with my thumbnail to get it all off. But, on the plus side, the Nano still looks like the day I put it in the InvisibleShield.... no scratches whatsoever, and this is a black one, notorious for showing scratches.
