Looks definitely gone at this time. I could find it yesterday searching under IOMEGA - just was out of stock. It's now nowhere to be found - either by name or by the SKU. Great deal for those that got in on it.

anybody in here actually get a completed order besides me? I ordered one well before it was posted about 1:45am est on 3/9 my dad ordered one about 4:00pm est 3/9 and mine has already shipped his still has not moved past IN PROCESS. Mine should be here Tuesday I spent extra $5 to get it quicker. I soon as I get it I will post whether Plex or Sanyo.

Just got my burner an hour ago from the UPS guy. 2nd one will be delivered tomorrow. The job order#42366 and the TL# mean I just got a Plextor rebadge for $87 final cost.

Just to shed some light on the Plex rebadged thing.

In January Iomega switched OEM suppliers to Sanyo. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the Sanyo based drives have 2 LEDs and the Plextor has only 1. Some people have said they can tell by the label on the box or what sort of seal it has too.

Both are good designs and are a deal for under $100.

2nd drive arrived today it was a PLextor too. I think that everyone that got in on this deal will get a Plex rebadge since these were a closeout item at Sam's. Usually overpriced computer components don't sale well at Sams so check their site frequently I think they pull these slow selling items from the clubs and close them out that way. I am happy though I was going to buy the 10x HP drive at Omax for $99 until I ran across this.
