crv screwed me, she said u cant combine coupons so i did 2 separate orders, for the burner i need 5cents to use the $40 coupon so i ordered 5 MSN Subscription Pack (446430). and also the crv would not let me pricematch the pricewatch $99 one cuz it wasnt on the site, so i had to pricematch it with buy.com which only saved me a few bucks, and i used the $25 coupon. So now i have to send in those 3 rebates which i hope will work, and my final price will be over what racerx09 said but i want to know how u got the crv u let u use 2 coupons and pricematch with pricewatch

I guess we are assuming that the purchases don't have to be on the same receipt. Hope your right. The only possibly negative indication that I could find is on the $100 rebate form. It says:

Include a copy of your sales reciept.

Hmmm... 'reciept' is singular... Hmmm....

they usually mean reciept(s) To the manufacturer is doesnt matter where you bought it, as long as you bought it. To staples in this case, its ok if we still bought it from them. If they complain, jsut say that it was out of stock, on back order or something. The maxtor rebate was the same, someone called to confirm this.

and oh yeah, can you use a coupon more than once? I think ive already used the 25 off 75. i think htere might be a 25 of 100 , and a 40 of 150 i can use though.

I don't want to break anybody's bubble, but I called twice and both times it was confirmed that the purchases need to be on one receipt for this rebate to come, if you don't believe me call for yourself.

I ordered on one order, with just one $40 off coupon.

Price matched camera with onvia for 120
and burner at onvia for 150

by the way, can't pricematch camera with buy.com different manf. numbers

will pay about $80

The first time I tried to pricematch, some guy told me that they could not do the pricematching because of the rebate or some crap like that. Told me to call back tomorrow. Called back, got a nice csr, who would pricematch.

got the cd-rw drive price adjusted...they refused to pricematch anyone else for the camera....they all know about the deal, and they were all supposedly told to not match with buy.com (without added their outrageous next day shipping fees). I was gonna play the game where I said "but i'm not really getting it the next business day" but she said i WAS getting it the next business day, so that next day delivery charge comes into affect...dammit...

I just bought the Iomega 12X4X32 drive open-box at Best Buy for $129. Opened the box and an Iomega 8X4X32 was inside!! Best Buy was awesome, very apologetic and said "Would you like a new one for the same price?", I of course said Yes! Anyway, the 8X4X32 is made by ACER. It is the OEM model with 2 megs of cache. I've had one under the IOMAGIC brand. Worked fine by can't read subchannel data for CDClone compatibility.

suit yourself surfindanet, but when your $100 rebate doesn't come, don't say that nobody warned you. It could happen, but I was told by 2 different csrs who checked with their higher ups, and it would not work. I don't think the chance of saving $25 on the camera is worth the large risk of not getting the $100

I don't think the csr or the manager there can make such decision, the rebate is processed by the rebate center.
I've sent email to the rebate center and waiting for their email reply (so that I can have some proof).

In fact, the review of this camera is really really bad (check other threads), but should be a good gift or for fun. I don't want to pay $20 bucks more get it.

Is this the same 8X4X32 Iomega burner(Sanyo) that will successfully copy games w/ SD 2.0 protection as was posted in a thread last week?? If so this deal just got a lot hotter.

If anyone has received this drive and it's manufactured by Sanyo please let us now!

It is the same drive, but I don't think it is a Sanyo. I think it is a Phillips or Acer.

Thanks for the warnings Smitty094. I agree that they will probably try to deny me the rebate. But I think the wording is open enough that I can sneak by. Will they send me notice that the rebate didn't go through or do I have to call after waiting 10 weeks? It doesn't surprise me that the Staples guys are trying to discourage people from even trying. Each person they tell no, saves them $100!

I'll try to remember to post in BRAG & MOAN how it turns out.

I just talked to 2 rebate department csrs and they both said you can mail in seperate invoice for each item. (i.e. you don't need to buy both at the same time on one invoice). I hope this will clear any confusion. But don't forget to mail both invoices together to qualify for the rebate.

Im not sure its worth risking the camera purchase, as it sucks, and there is no use for it.
