Strange. My iPad mini has the same processor (A5), screen resolution (1,024x768) and memory capacity (512MB) and still works great in iOS 7.

Mine is working fine now. Back to its old self.

How? Total ipad reset, as if it were a brand new device. Apparently a LOT of people had to do this. I noticed it most profoundly playing a couple of games, they sucked.

So, thanks Apple, for releasing an OS update that quite literally forced many of us to reset our device to bring performance back to where it was.

The only thing I don't like is how the volume icon is no longer transparent. Whenever you press the volume up or down button, it blocks half the screen on the iPhone!

Yes. This is extremely irritating.

I like how the menu bars in Safari recede on the iPhone but does it happen on the iPad as well? If so, it could be a little annoying.

I liked the iOS6 full-screen option better, but iOS7 full-screen is still great...especially doing AirPlay to an Apple TV (overscan is disabled on my TV and overscan compensation is disabled in the Apple TV settings).

Safari on iPad still has no full-screen option. This makes it a lousy experience through AirPlay. Even if it had a full-screen option, the iPad would have a 4:3 aspect within a 16:9 area...but having no full-screen option makes this even worse. so much screen space is wasted...

iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iPod touch 5th generation are awesome with Safari + AirPlay on a 16:9 TV.

I like it. It feels more intuitive and the slide-up feature is really dandy. Some of the new app icons are just plain ugly, though.

iOS 7.0.4 is decent. I turn off the animations and boost the contrast and stuff, and disable apps running in the background. I don't like how it feels like an Android knockoff. Still not a big fan of the white/outlines/etc. design, and how all of the apps are switching to "thin bar" buttons/nav systems (like Camera+). Control Center is probably my favorite thing.

It crashes less now, especially the OS - individual apps still have more crashes than iOS6 though. I've also had more problems with the camera, either resetting to the Apple logo or simply not opening. Especially when it stitches the panorama together, I see a lot of crashes. It's still a Russian roulette game as to when it shuts down - anything under 30% is fair game. I've had it shutdown at 1% and I've had it shutdown at 24%, no rhyme or reason. I need to put that new battery in

What device are you running it on? I sometimes find the animations annoying on my devices (iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPad mini, iPod touch 5th gen)...but the "reduce motion" option is even more annoying to me. The animations are still smooth on devices with an A5 or newer processor (iPhone 4S and anything newer).

Just yesterday, I had Apple fix the battery on an iPhone 5 that was doing the same thing. When it gets down to 20%, battery life was completely unpredictable. You might have another hour or you might have 1 minute. On the way to the Apple store, it actually started happening around 40%. When my brother bought it from his coworker, the guy said it had a battery issue. Fortunately, it was fixed in-warranty. I'm testing it one more time (today) before I sell it.
