Works up until 7.0.4. Kind of disappointed they didn't wait until 7.1, which will probably hit in a month, but its entirely possible 7.1 fixed the exploits and they wanted to get it out there.

I'll probably update my 5S to 7.0.4 before Apple releases a new point version. It'll be nice to get BiteSMS back at some point.

This will make my nephew happy. He can install TetherMe on his AT&T-locked iPhone 4 that he uses with a StraightTalk SIM.

TetherMe enables APN editing on devices that normally hide the settings.

The mobileprofile APN setting method he's had to use does not work with MMS and it somehow keeps losing everything anyway. He's currently without any data connection.

Restoring my 5s now since I did an OTA update on 7.0.4. I'll post back how everything works for a day one release. I assume i'll need to reapply and jailbreak in a few days once Cydia has been updated and the bugs worked out. iOS 7 is the most contempt I've been on an iOS without feeling the need to jailbreak, but it'll be nice to have some programs back.

Jailbreak went smooth as can be. Lots of apps aren't yet compatible with iOS 7 which I expected.

I jailbroke my devices, had to do a DFU restore on my 5s, suspect it was because the battery was at 2%, did a restore through iTunes, charged the battery a bit and it did fine.

Just waiting for the Cydia developers (and Cydia) to catch up.

Reportedly, the evasion team sold the jailbreak to a Chinese company that added their own app store to the jailbreak (for the China version, not the US version)

You probably had to do the restore because your existing 7.0.4 install was done as an incremental over-the-air update.

Yes, it was, just read that too. Working fine now. I don't use iTunes for much more than a restore, had never plugged the 5s into a computer till today.

I'm ready for a compatible tethering app :ninja:
