ip35e vs ip35p

other than the clear cmos setting on the ip35p and the fact that you can't find the ip35e anywhere, what are the differences between these?

ip35pro has xfire capabilities .. the second slot max @ 4x, RAID, e-sata, more USB ports, solid caps all over, heatpipe, fancier heatsinks, no firewire. Also I have noticed that most of the problems like double boot issues and losing overclock settings are more common with the ip35-e and ip35 variants. I had my machine unplugged from the outlet for more than an hour yesterday doing cable management .. and was expecting it to lose all the settings, but they were all there when I plugged it back.

Bryans's enquiring about the IP35P [sic], not the Pro. It's a relatively new product that seems positioned to replace the IP35-E as Abit's budget enthusiast P35 (currently $80 after rebate). Specs on Abit and Newegg seem identical to IP35-E save the aforementioned 'EZ' switch for clearing the CMOS. I don't think it supports microGuru. Visually the board returns to Abit's traditional rusty hue rather than the deep blues of the IP35-E and Pro (but it skips the obnoxious monster truck on the packaging, ha). By the way, Newegg seems to be muddling the IP35P and the Pro as well, since half the IP35P photos are of the Pro!

Does this mean we won't be seeing P45 boards from Abit any time soon?

Ah .. my mistake, sorry! I thought the 'p' stood for pro. Is that be cheaper than the ip35-e then?

I think that the pwm doesn't have a hs on the ip35p.

abit showed several P45 mobos at Cebit but iirc P45 isn't likely to hit en masse until June?
