Hey all,
Recent picked up an iPad mini with retina display after selling my iPad 3. While I love the size of the iPad, I am finding the sound of tapping the screen very distracting. I did some research and found they switched the material they use for the touch layer, using something other than glass to save weight. It's considerably louder than it was on my old iPad.
Anyone else notice this louder tap? I'm not usually sensitive to things like this but as I usually use my iPad in quiet rooms at night, it's annoying to the point I'm thinking about returning it.
