Wife won one from work last week and we absolutely love the form factor compared to our Nexus 7. It feels lighter and thinner, however my wife still prefers her Nexus 7 for reading since it has a much better screen.

I get to use it for porn and gaming, love it so far. If Apple can add a retina display it would be perfect!

I had one and just sold it recently to use the money for my Surface Pro. The only real reason I used it for was for reading. I browsed in it comfortably as well. However for anything else maybe even browsing the larger screen I think is better. When you are lying in bed and get the mini to read a book or magazine with it then very cool. But I used Infinite Skills app for trainings on software and the smaller screen of the Mini didn't help. However, I didn't want to spend on the Ipad Retina just for the trainings. It was too much of an investment. I now follow the trainings on my iPhone 5 lol.
Honestly I didn't enjoy Angry Birds on the Mini. But it is a nice device worth the money. You got it free. AWESOME!!
