kyutip and bonedoctor, the Pocket PC Mobility USB Sync/Charger Cable with Auto Adapter sold by Compaq for $24.99 is the same as the IPAQ SYNC CHARGER USB W/CIG LIGHTER ADAPTER sold by Buy.com for $9.95. They are both the USB Sync Charger for iPAQ Pocket PC (Belkin Part Number: F8Q1000). I purchased one from buy.com. It is definitely a "must have" accessory for your iPAQ (unless you are lucky enough to have a 3800 series which it won't work with.)

the usb cable won't do you much good in a car.

i bought the battery charger cable for the previous compaq wince machine for $19 and it works just fine.

The adapter allows you to plug the USB cable into your cigarette lighter outlet allowing you power your iPAQ and recharge the battery.

you can get a car charger that does the job at radioshack for $11. i been using it since last year, works great.

Mine arrived Friday and this thing works great.

It will make the trip to the inlaws house Tuesday much more bearable.
