Ipaq is so much cooler than high end palm 505m

I have had palms but I am in love with my Ipaq 3765 I got it for 419-50 rebate and got a service plan on it for 25.00 so I can upgrade the unit for a higher end model next year hehehehe.

Anyways,

The contrast and the power you get from the Ipaqs is so much better. If all u need is a contact holder then get a cheapo palm 90 bucks m 100. But if you are a geek you can do so much more geeky things with the Ipaq. I think Im in LOVE.

while this thread is still alive... Someone reallly should get a petition to get a pda forum going here. PDA's really seem to be growing and considering all the deals on them then a PDA forum would really help alot of folks out. (of course we'd have to deal with the flame wars but still...)

Thats so true. I got an ipaq originally because it was cheap as hell (open box last year) so it cost as much as a palm. I really dont like the battery in these things cause they drain too quick but when i tried switching back then i realized i was screwed. Once you use that big screen and the multimedia functions then youre hooked.

Well, You can pricematch with lots of places for $449 (My local Target for example) and then use a $40 of $200 coupon at staples (place the PM order and then put the order on hold and call back with a coupon) = $419 and then send in the $50 rebate = $370. (YMMV of course). As for me, I just picked up the 3635 with CF jacket from Amazon today for $449 and free shipping with my AMEX Blue which will end up costing me around $141 after BVG and $150 Compaq rebate that expires this Saturday. That should leave plenty for a sizeable CF card and maybe some other nice addons. YAY!!!! POCKET PC'S RULE!!!
