Looks nice but i'm not spending 2USD on it.

just had a brand new 4.0.1 blow the eff up after install a few apps like fring/skype after the typical cydia/installous.

It was a restored phone without apps. so the reloading of the apps had the user data but i had to manually reload each app. that could have left remnants. i'll need to load ifile and tail the logs to see what is going on.

not stable imo.

Ran the JB on my 3GS 4.0.1. No problems at all. Everything's working great and I am actually having fun again with my phone... I thought I just imagined it last time I did JB, but it's true. I like to play around with it now again. Having a choice and almost full control over your phone makes a huge difference for me.

skype i'm staying far away from. it resulted in a DFU recovery. what a pita.

Not totally sure what the "signing window" is...
Just jailbroke mine a few moments ago... now to experiment!

The signing window is when Apple will let you reload a version of iOS on to a device. Once they are no longer signing, you can no longer acquire the signature required by the device to accept the iOS.

I have Skype on my phone and it works just fine with the jailbreak on 4.0.1.
