You're in denial...
I realize you don't want to believe me, but read what a pro-Mac site has to say about the bending problem. I'll stick with what I said: it looks like Apple scaled up the design in the length and width dimensions to make a phablet, without increasing the thickness, so it has a weak spot: the aluminum is just too thin. To use that expensive, scratch-able, BENDABLE phone without a case is just asking for trouble. Sorry...

You probably think I'm just an Apple hater, but I'm not. I have an iPhone 5 and an Android phone. They are both good. I'm just saying the iPhone 6 doesn't compare favorably with the G3 on many levels, but mostly on price.
Peace!
I said -- if you act stupid and don`t use common sense of course the 6+ will bend.......as follows...
Actually you have not used the iPhone6+ and as such cannot speak from first hand experience...
I on the other hand can speak from first hand experience and quite frankly there is not a bending issue.......only for those who choose to not use common sense!
http://gearburn.com/2014/09/iphone-6-bending-issues-caused-by-thinner-lighter-frame/ <-- another site and I quote -- In a press release post-launch, Apple lauded the design of its new iPhone 6/Plus duo, noting how it scrutinized every element and material. Thats how we arrived at a smooth, continuous form. Hilariously, this seems quite fallacious considering that there are now a good spread of iPhone models currently bending in the rear quarter pockets of its users overly tight jeans.
This isnt just a one-off report either. Vloggers and international sites from Marques Brownlee to CNN have tested this phenomenon, and found it to be absolutely true. Although some degree of stupidity and wanton aggression is needed:
"With normal use, a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus," Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in an email.
<--- nine out of how many millions??
My wife has the G4........I like that also...but I personally like the 6+...so go figure....
Unless you have owned a 6+ you will not understand that there really is not a bending issue...
Here are some sites claiming a bending issue--
http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/09/23/video-demonstrates-reported-iphone-6-plus-bending-issues -- look at the force that person is using to bend the phone....both thumbs are very red.....quite a bit of pressure...

Apple shares closed down nearly 4 percent at $97.87 on Thursday, wiping out nearly $23 billion in market value.
The new phones face criticism over their bendability, dubbed "bendgate". Social media and online forums have been abuzz with comments about how the new phones can bend when placed in back pockets or while wearing skinny jeans.
Apple said its iPhones feature stainless steel and titanium inserts to reinforce high-stress locations and use the strongest glass in the smartphone industry.
The only way an iPhone may have bent is if someone put it in their back pocket and sat on the phone for a very long time, said Laban Roomes, chief executive of Goldgenie, which customizes and gold plates iPhones.
