I lost my Iphone 5 and my wife has a 4s. We will both be getting the 6. The 6 Plus is just way to large.

Not to mention my ipad air is with my everywhere so I have no need for a phablet.

think im just gonna give the plus a try, and if i think it's too big, i'll just sell it and get the 6. was just putting the cardboard cutout in my pockets of the pants i wear a lot to work and out and stuff, and it fits fine in there, although definitely noticeably bigger.

I wish I figured this out earlier, but if I'm on grandfathered unlimited AT&T, what are my choices here to do the 5s trade in? (Used upgrade on the 5s)

- I can purchase the phone full price with the $300 voucher for the trade in and I won't get a subsidized phone from last year, thus continuing the grandfathered plan.

- I heard I can switch to Next and keep unlimited data. I'm not even sure how that works. I thought Next = mobile share. My friend sounds like full of BS, but he swore he recorded the convo with the AT&T rep also. They're closed now so I can't even call to clarify. But based on my research months ago about switching to Mobile Share to add my parents, I'm not sure if Next can be done with unlimited data. I did my best to Google and I found one other comment saying another AT&T rep said the same thing.

Was just able to preorder Iphone 6 plus 64GB (says delivery within 14-21 days) on AT&T website ~5min early.

EDIT: Just able to order iphone 6 64GB (says delivery on 9/19/14) on AT&T site ~3min early.

Ordered my 128GB 6+ on Verizon's site. I'm not sure if it was a bug or something weird, but I believe they already had the 16GB 6 and 16GB 6+ listed as delivered in October.

Although, I do have a question. The order process asked me if I plan to use the phone internationally, which I responded no to... because I don't necessarily plan to. Although, aren't all Verizon LTE phones unlocked anyway as per the mandate from buying the 700Mhz spectrum? So... what does that even do?

You sure? I swear I checked Verizon's pre-order link a few minutes before 3:01 AM EST, and it said to come back at that time. Maybe I just missed it! :$ Anyway, that is kind of amusing though... because weren't people predicting that no one would buy the 16GB because the 64GB is such a huge jump in storage for a fairly decent price (compared to prior years)?

Oh, and to add, I did decide to go with Edge. We'll see if that ends up being a bad idea or not.

The Silver 16GB and 64GB 6Plus sold out quick at ATT.com. Pretty sure all Pluses sold out quick on ATT.com

Didnt matter to me. We got out Silver 64GB 6's with ease.

I ordered a 64GB non plus in Space Gray from Verizon, a few minutes before 2am CST(aka 12PST), their preorder was already open. Says delivery by 9/19, so who knows.

Always order through the app. The store app comes online much faster IIRC the app is working right now.

I would forget about getting a Plus at launch. Shipping is likely October for Apple at this point. It was like that for ATT and Verizon minutes after opening pre-orders;

We specifically want to avoid ordering it from our carrier.

i got mine at like 2:57am on verizon's website. got a 64gb space gray ip6+. said confirmation email may take 24 hours to be sent.

also ... fucking verizon nickles and dimes like shit. had a $30 "ugprade" fee even though i paid the discounted price, and also will have a $35 activation fee on my bill.

said deliver by 9/19.

Question: what happens if you order 2 phones on upgrade on the same phone number ? Ex: order 1 from AT&T, another from Apple store on same exact phone number that is eligible for upgrade ?

Anyone ever tried this ?
