Ugh. I might not be getting mine before Friday. It has been at the NJ facility for nearly 24 hours! Mine arrived there yesterday at 4:27PM. It is still at said NJ facility as of 3:27PM today. Looks like they are just sitting on it!

just called fedex and they told me they can't change it to not require a signature, even though i have all the information, and that the shipper would have to change it.
and they also put a restriction on it so that it can't be held at a local fedex facility for me to pick up. probably not going to be able to get it on friday unless they deliver late in the day, and then i won't have it until monday.
Those are both pretty standard practices for both UPS and FedEx. You can't override signature required, because that's for the shipper's well-being, and you can sometimes pick up a package that had a missed delivery late at night if you go to the distribution center.
Although, why not just have it sent to a FedEx location? It's free, easy, and they're open until about 9PM.

Do they mean that it can't be held at the distribution center or can't be delivered to a FedEx store? Because FedEx and UPS are required to try and deliver the item once; however, changing the delivery to a store usually counts for that. FedEx's page even says, "Signature required at time of delivery? We also accept and hold signature-required shipments."
I was planning on having mine delivered to the store whenever I get my tracking information. So, I'll see what happens when I try to do it.

mine isn't shipped either of those methods, it was shipped with some fedex overnight delivery thing. so yeah, it's just not possible.

So can you leave a note on your door saying Fedex I authorize you to leave delivery at door with your name, address and signature? Indirect signature

What's with the restriction preventing you from picking it up? I never really cared about the signature thing for iPads and whatnot because I knew I could always just go pick it up if I missed the delivery.
You know what I did once... I had a sheet of sticky labels and I cut out a small one (about the size of the one they leave behind) and signed it, wrote a note and asked them to peel and stick the label to their slip. I then taped it to my door because I knew they would be there the next day.
It worked for me. I'm assuming they just peeled my signature and stuck it to their form. So, I got the item on the first day it was due for delivery even though I wasn't there. Worth a shot.

yeah sounds like a plan. i'll try something to leave on the door friday. maybe i will get lucky and they will accept it, or maybe they will try to deliver it after i get home. i should be home by like 4pm that day.
My 6+ Spigen case just came in. This phone is huge. I can see people who don't have very big hands having issues with it.
just curious when did your case ship out? my case shipped out 2 days ago, however the tracking info isn't updated at all, and it still shows expected delivery date october 7th, which makes no sense. i'm assuming the expected delivery date is based off of amazons initial order they took, which said it wouldn't be in stock till september 30th. but they got more in stock over the weekend and mine shipped out monday.
