Iphone 6s vs Iphone 6s Plus--Leaning toward 6s--any thoughts?

Need one for wife and me.

* I would prefer 6s with 5 inch and full HD (1080) and OIS but NO!!!!! says Apple!!

* So in Lieu of that seems the 5.5 inch is a little too big--Unless I drove for UBER I would appreciate the bigger screen.

* So will probably pick up 2 6s 64 gb from ATT(in store or online-does it matter) to get the subsidized price w/ 2 year $299.00 each.

* will I regret getting the Smaller Iphone 6s??

Thanks

ETA: Looked at both side by side and seems the Smaller one does everything the larger one does--can't tell the difference in resolution--with my old Eyes. Would like your thoughts though!!

The only other significant difference between the two (besides screen size and weight of course), is battery life. The plus lasts significantly longer.

For me that's enough to go with the plus. But for you, it may not be.

Yah, OIS, battery life, and the extra resolution is nice for the web. Its not just smaller, its less pixels.

just upgraded from a 5S to 6S, the plus is just too big for me. switched from Verizon to ATT. subsidized price is BS for both or all carriers, they would charge you $40/month if you pay the subsidized price or $15-$25/month if you do the leasing/next or edge plan. So you ended up paying about the same for the phone, but if you plan on keeping the phone for a long time, the month fee for the phone will end eventually, so your monthly bill will be lower in 2-3yrs vs if you are on the subsidized price plan, you monthly fee will be the same forever.

Just upgraded from a 5 to a 6S+. Frankly I'm only 5'9 and my hands are far from huge but I don't see how the 6S+ is deemed to big. I rarely use any phone one handed but even now I can still use my 6S+ one handed. If it's about pocket space that I don't get because frankly it's only slightly wider. It's just not that much bigger when you lay them over top.

I've actually saved pocket space by upgrades to the plus and dropping my wallet in favor of a case that holds credit cards. I couldn't be more pleased.

More importantly my phone battery life is incredible which is the primary driver I had for the 6S+

I heard apple is gonna release a new breed of 4" screen phones soon. May want to hold off. Apparently apple wants to "re-invent" the small screen phone.

No brainer for me, 6S wins. Size is the only factor I consider. Doesn't really matter what features the plus may have, I'm not trying to carry that thing around with me.

That's what I'm thinking as well.
Went to Apple today to look again side by Side--6s Plus seems way to big to Lug around.

s Plus would be Nice for some Musician Apps--but that's all I can think of--I use my Desktop or Laptop everyday/All Day. Iphone is only for: Calls, Text, Maps, Pics and Video.

I wish I could get 6s with 5 inch Screen/Full HD.

I'll give you my 2 cents since I just went thru the exact same thing.

First --------- I had the 6s Plus for 2 weeks but exchanged is for the regular 6s. The 6s Plus is an awesome phone for sure. The benefits are.....

Battery
Image stabilization (though this makes a smaller difference than I really thought)
True 1080p and just beautiful screen

Second ------- Despite the obvious advantages of the Plus, the regular is still a FANTASTIC device that is really no less beautiful and capable, ESPECIALLY when you won't be carrying both phones next to each other to compare every day.

Third ------- Chances are VERY good that Apple will be offering 3 versions next year on the 7 since MANY 5-series users are hooked on the 5-size form factor and I can't argue. The rest of my family all have 5's and that is quite possibly the perfect size for the average human hand ergonomically. (My regular 6s looks significantly large than their 5's)

All this to say you cannot go wrong with the regular 6s. You *could* go wrong with the Plus as it is a chunk.

Apple MUST reduce their framing size in the next revision. Samsung, LG, etc have all killed it in that regard and Apple is behind. The iPhones simply have too much excess all around. Yes, they're thin, but that's quite possibly not even a good thing.

And lastly...............there are MANY, MANY folks who LOVE their Plus phones and many small folks (women, kids, small men, etc.) and there's no changing their minds. They simply love them and I had to just understand that and come to my own conclusion even though I'm very tall with large hands.........the Plus just wasn't for me.

My 2c - I upgraded from the 6 to the 6s Plus. I was concerned about the size beforehand but I've since gotten used to it. Also noticeably heavier but as expected the trade offs are better screen, camera, and battery life. I no longer have to carry an external juice pack + cable as I can (confidently) go through a day without recharging. I also game on the phone a fair bit so the bigger size is more comfortable, not just for my eyes but for my hands when holding the phone horizontally.

I stuck one of these on the back of my case: http://www.amazon.com/iRing-Universal-Masstige-Holder-Device/dp/B00DUN9B9U - for added security when using the phone and acts as a kickstand.

Large screen is awesome when you are watching YouTube with caption that is why I picked up 6 Plus. You won't regret getting 6S Plus.

I had to make the same decision with the 6. Get the smaller one. The plus is too big plus with a case its enormous.

6s. Fits perfectly in the hand and has a higher quality display even though it's lower resolution (better contrast, more accurate colors).

only get the plus if you want more battery life, or if you have really large hands
I have a 6s and it usually last 2 days of normal use or 1 day if i do heavy web browsing

My wife has a 6 plus and loves it, and she is tiny. She just uses it like a wallet, bought a case that has slots for credit cards, money etc and just walks around with it. Very useful for her.

For me, i like smaller phones so 4.7" is a better option. Really no way to answer this as it depends on the person. Looks like Apple will also be doing a 4" Iphone 7C (or 6C) so i imagine that will be quite popular. Would rather they made it 4.4" rather than 4" but i guess that would undercut their 6S sales.

6s. I'm on a 5S and think the 6s+ is monstrously big. (My wife has the 6s, and friends have the 6s+.) I have small hands though, and prefer small phones. I actually prefer the holdability of the 5S over the 6s, but for viewing certain web pages, the 6s is obviously better. For some web pages the 6s+ is obviously even better, but the 6s+ is way too awkward to use one handed. Overall, the only thing I really envy of the plus series is the optical image stabilization.

So my solution right now is a 5S on the road, with an iPad Air 2 at home.

My next phone will be in 2016. I may get an iPhone 7, but I'm curious if there is going to be an upgraded 4" phone.
