Glad they upped the storage, but I'll be keeping my iPhone 6 for another year. It looks the same and 899$ for the cheapest model in Canada, so overpriced for what it is.
Both my wife and I are using 32 GB 5S models, and the constant battle to free up storage space is pushing me to upgrade. I have a pretty decent loyalty plan with my cellular carrier and to continue to use said plan, I'll have to buy my phones outright. The total price for two iPhone 7 Plus 256 GB is going to cost me $2800 after taxes. I can save about $600 if I step down to a 6S 128GB, but seeing that I keep my devices for at least three years, it's probably a wiser choice to get the 7 as it has decent amount of upgrades compared to the 6S.
But yeah, the Canadian dollar isn't what it was when I bought my 5S and it's definitely a lot of money to plunk down for sure. I'm not unhappy with the 5S and if it had more memory, I could probably eek out another year on it.
