I don't know...... This phone cost more then a XBOX 360. Sony is getting hosed for charging 5-600 bucks for it's PS3. The Wii is selling for 199 -250 range and it seems the (masses are willing to buy) and the Wii is selling like hot cakes, can't even keep it in stock.
Kind of wondering how they expect the public to afford a 500+ cell phone? Do you really think the public is going to pony up for that? It's true that I got a Razr when they kinda first came out, Waited till my contract expired and got them for free with another 2 year contract... Back then the phones were going for 150-200 bucks. Took good care of it, went out and bought some nice body glove cell suites... No, not because they were expensive, (remember got them for free) but because if I had to replace it, wpould have to pony up big bucks. This being said, can't imagine walking around with one of these 600 dollar phones on my belt into a crowded street, train, mall... Be paranoid that it would be stolen, dropped, or scratched. Just can't see it... Guess if I were rich and were wearing 1000.00 rings etc...etc... then yeah, who cares...
OK, I have to admit, I think it's ABOUT FRIGEN time someone steps up to the plate and gets the tech buzz fired back up, IT'S been WAY too long!!! Would love to have an Iphone, that technology should have done this a long time ago... It's a shame we had to WAIT this long...
Anyway, I can't afford that price, 150.00 would be my limit.... I'd probably pay more if it did have a GPS, and it was functional to strap it on the dash and actually be able to read the screen and have it talk... or whatever... G3, never used.... But, if they could get everyone wired up on it and at a cheap price, it too would be a plus...
It will be really interesting to see how many people splurge on this new toy. Hope they do well, as if they do it will lite the fires under other cell phone makers to step up to the plate and top apple.
