Sampson: I agree with part of what you're saying, I just would never buy something that cost $300 just to play music. So, I make fun of ALL those expensive MP3 players...but since the iPod is the most expensive, it gets made fun of most

. I want one because they are small, have great battery life, and have the best damn interface of any player out there..

you sure you are talking about the same ipod teh rest of us are think of?

um yeah 12 hrs is pretty good. other players have caught with it lately, but ipod is still the smallest one. and dont talk about the "battery wearing out after a year" bs because that happens to ALL rechargeable batteries, its not some evil scam by apple.

Ya but atleast with creative you can replave the fvcking thing.

to me the ipod is for someone that wants an mp3 to be an mp3 and that is exactly it

the other people i are those that for instance would buy a watch digital with a compass, gps, remote control and usb storage

you know what i'd like my watch to do tell time and i dont give a damn about anything else
to each his own

your watch may be technically superior but you know what i'll take my analog watch any day of the week over the former
