ipod/itunes question

How come whenever I play my mp3s on my computer they are in order (like albumwise) but whenever I put them on my ipod the songs on the albums arent in order anymore? I'm trying to listen to pink floyd - the wall but it sucks because all the songs are out of order!

any help is appreciated.

Well, I do not have a permanent solution for this. But I too experience the same problem. What I did is entered into the 'iPod' (or whatever you named your iPod as)folder inside the iTunes and dragged-dropped all the songs into order. Yes, it's a little boring and time consuming task, but it has helped so far.

You can sort them inside itunes and that is the sort that they will use on the iPod. So, connect your iPod, then, on the left there (where you have library, playlists, iPOd, that sort of thing) select the ipod and then select the playlist that you want. Now, just change the sort options by clicking the column headers.
