Hello, i've been wondering which monitor to purchase with a price limit of $150. I've been doing research of just about everything for monitors and now im stuck on whether to buy IPS or TN panel monitor.
I'm looking for a 1080p monitor with great colors. Im a gamer and play fast paced games where low response time is useful, but i also enjoy watching high-quality movies at 1080p blueray, so having superb color quality is essential too.
One thing i constantly hear about IPS monitors is that they have a larger viewing angle, but as for me, i'll be on my chair, where the monitor is perfectly fixed to my eyes, so viewing angle doesn't matter much to me.
I have two monitors in mind atm,

IPS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236205
I'm wondering if IPS panels have greater color quality than TN when im viewing straight at the monitor, if the colors are more vibrant or sharp or if its better when watching movies at the highest quality
