The problem with the test:

Sure, the test and many other Internet IQ tests may be somewhat accurate for those in the 25-75 percentile, but if you are scoring 120+ or 130+ you are in the non-reliable result area.

I'd like to think that my IQ is 150+ like the test predicted... probably not reliable result.

However my real IQ is 142 so yes it is inflated. Language abilities make a difference. ie reading abilities etc.

LOL, at iqtest.com, I got a 177 when I was in grade 8. At The Spark's IQ test, I only got like a 134. Talk about overinflation @ iqtest.com

Brain.com has a really good IQ test.

They have a 5 minute test and a 12 minute test.

Just in case I was being hammered for my "nowhere near that" comment, I would like to clarify that I meant was "not nearly that high."

Doesn't that site also sell you a report that details all the different parts of your intelligence (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean)? They're scamming. I took that test once. Got a score of X. Took it again, changing some of my correct answers to incorrect and got a score of Y which was > X.

The real kicker though is that my wife got a higher score than me on that site, so obviously it's not very accurate.

that was part of the test. if u pay, u fail.
i got 153, it says i'm a genius! i wish i could find out wich ones i got wrong... what is 1/2 of 1 and a half pounds? I'm a canadian, we don't believe in pounds.
