The "Fvcking Idiot" created this situation, which was totally unneccessary. Cooler heads had always predicted that Iran would be one of the beneficiaries of a power vacuum in Iraq -- one of the many reasons Bush the Elder stopped the troops short with a clear path to Bagdhad at the end of the Gulf War. This situation is 100% Bush's fault.
Yeah, the fact that Iran is the one who is moving their troops and wants more power is Bush's fault. Gotcha. I alway knew Bush was part of the Ayatollah
Oh, and Iraq wasn't "totally unneccessary" - it was necessary because Saddam didn't do as he said he would do.CkG
By needlessly and foolishly invading Iraq, Bush created this situation.
Respected foreign policy experts of all stripes warned about and feared the power vacuum that would result after the fall of Hussein. That's why Bush's dad backed off. Bush unwisely went ahead, He is 100% to blame for these 100% foreseeable results.
If you know that drinking toxic waste will give you cancer and you drink it anyway, you are to blame for your cancer, not the cancer. Get it?
Oh, and you say the invasion "was necessary because Saddam didn't do as he said he would do." Please document what Hussein didn't do that he said he would, and please show the airtight case as to why that made our invasion necessary. What explicit peril were we in prior to the invasion that made it the only rational choice, given its astronomical costs in men and money and its dangers?
